VARIETIES: Sangiovese 80%, other grapes 20%
AGE OF VINES: 2003
ALTITUDE: 300-400 mt. asl. 
SOIL COMPOSITION: Alluvial soil, with sand, clay, gravel and shingle. 
EXPOSURE: South-West. 
VINE TRAINING: Spurred cordon. 
HARVEST TIME: Between the second half of September and the beginning of October. 
WINEMAKING: Fermented in steel vats at a controlled temperature up tol 30°C. 
AGING: 3 months in steel vats and 3 months in bottles. 
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 12% vol. 
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 15°C. 
COLOR: Has a bright ruby-red colour. 
NOSE: It is clean, quite intense and and opens up immediately with hints of violet and roses, then offers red fruit aromas. 
PALATE: It enters softly, supported by good acidity with vigorous but supple tannins. The aromas of red fruits and minerals return after swallowing. 
SERVING SUGGESTIONS: white and red meats, medium-aged cheeses, vegetables.
