Today our vineyards are spread over different areas, each with slightly different characteristics.
The rows run on the hills from 350 meters up to 600 meters above sea level, sometimes encountering different terrains, with a greater presence of clay, gravel, sand and fluvial deposits, up to the more steep and rocky ones.
Starting from the fifth year of growth, our vineyards are left grassy thanks to sowing and wild herbs left to grow and spread to create a more fertile, draining and ventilated soil, able to prevent erosion and landslides.
The main vine of our land is Sangiovese for which we have selected several clones specifically chosen according to the vineyard and the wine we wanted to produce.
Today we cultivate 40 hectares of vines which have been renewed and restructured over the years. The oldest vineyards are 30 years old.
